i have got an e-mail that says "you have been approved to claim a total sum of us$500,000.00 in cash cradited to file..............ware selected random;y from world wide web site through computer draw system and extracted from over 100,000 companies, this promotion takes place annually please note that your lucky winning number falls within our europian booklet representative office in europe as indicated in your play coupon. plz help me to verify that " is it a ture win" thank you all

A scam!!! I get these e-mails all of the time, the authors must think we have "stupid" written across our foreheads. Anyway, it is a scam. How can you win a drawing that you never entered? I just report them as spam in hopes that they don't come back.



I used to reply to these e-mails with remarks like "go find another sucker" or "how nice, I forwarded a copy of this e-mail to the LAPD fraud division". I don't recommend doing this though. One time a representative kept sending me personal e-mails ensuring this wasn't a scam and now I get two to three of the e-mails you mentioned a day. Just report them as spam.

The answer above mine is not accurate. The ripoffreport is an information gathering site and has no enforcement power. Look at the questions I have answered on this site in my info. There are so many winners there could not be enough money to pay them all.There is no International Lottery.This is a Nigeria scam. Yahoo/MSN, U.K. and Australian lotteries, football lotteries from the same counties, Global-Link, World Poverty, Microsoft, Free Lotto, which now seems to have it's own people answering gambling questions on this site claiming they have won which is a total lie, and hundreds more. I am a retired Police Officer that has years of experience investigating Internet scams and frauds. This is an old one. The common link to them getting your email is on line surveys. Yahoo does not give it's stock holders money away nor does it give it's email subscribers address's to lotteries. The only way to win in a lottery is to buy a ticket, if you didn't you could not possibly win. Also go to www.ripoffreport.com and browse complaints and you will find many having the same doubts as yourself about these scams. Below is a typical scam and how they work it. They just go under a thousand different names. They are asking you to send a prepayment to collect your winnings and they want you to send it by a money wire service. Lotteries do not just pick your name out of thin air, and just so happen to have your email also. No Internet service provider gives their email list out to lotteries. If you did not pay to play you could not possibly win.



recieved letter of winning $65000.00 Pacific Player International lotteries,please contact claims agent miss linda strong at 204-951-7582. Second letter came with a check for the amount of $2,470.00 To deposited in my bank account for processing fee,a week later check cleared my bank. I contacted my claims agent over the phone she advise me to wire the balance of $2,341.00 to a Mr Edward Culwell in New York,New York.I called miss linda strong to advise her of the western union confirmation number,to date can not get in touch with linda strong just her voice mail, I know now that it was all a RIP-OFF and now Iam in the hole with $2,470.00 with my bank.... Please send HELP... THANK YOU VERY MUCH

You are in trouble now, as they are so expert in telling lies, you can not stop yourself to avoid paying them required money what they ask you to pay by different ways. This money will become increasing, each time you pay the previous one, as they will make another excuse to pay more money each time you pay. This process never ends, unless you get tired of paying them money against their false dreams shown to you.



Develop a very strong will power in you to forget these scams, never even open such mails, they are a very strong gang, not afraid of FBI or Fraudwatch even, as they are out the reach, or they are FBI or fraudwatch people by themselves.



They choose a person who is non resident of the country of winnings they talk about.

that is a TOTAL rip-off! if u buy into that, they will make u shell out money and give them your checking account number, where they will send u a check, but as soon as you cash it, it will bounce and YOU will foot the bill! report those ppl to www.ripoff.com because they will get a tracking number for them and send the losers behind that scam to prison.
