Most money you've lost/won in a bet?

The most I've lost was $300 in a single bet, but I lost another $300 through a series of bets before that. 600 bucks down the drain in an hour....

The most I've won was $150 in a single, and about $300 in an hour through a series. This was all really cool to me because I'm not used to that kind of money, but it was a valuable lesson at 14.

My city (Wilkes-Barre) recently built the very first casino in Pennsylvania ( http://www.poconodowns.com/ ), and I went for my first time today.

As it was my first time there, the casino gave me a player's card with $10 on it. Within 10 minutes of playing the slot machines, I won $200, and then I won another $70, and then another $30. Remember, I had yet to play any of my own money.

So, figuring it was the casino's money anyway, but wanting to go home with something, I figured I'd keep playing until I got down to $250. Well, I got greedy, and wound up coming home with $230. I should have left when I had the $300, but didn't.

I made a thousand Dollar bet in a game of Roulette. I ended up wining $7,000. So, I figured I'd bet $5000 of that and win $35,000 extra. Instead I won nothing. I later lost the 2000 remaining dollars at Blackjack and Poker tables. It was the first and last time I ever went to a casino

I bet $1000 on the Giants to beat the Patriots, straight up, no spread. I, luckily won that. I also won $200 that the Giants would beat them by 3 or more points, which they did!



$1200 in one game. That really doesn't make up for all of the money I've lost in past games, like World Series, World Cup Soccer, Stanley Cup etc etc. I usually lose all of my $, but for once I bet on the underdog and WON.

I'm not sure that I'm in the neighborhood you're looking at......but I've probably lost as much as $800 in a single hand of poker. This was, of course, after I had won a lot more. I'm not sure if you'd consider an online poker tournament a bet.....but I played in a $55 tournament (that I got into from a $15 satellite) and won just shy of $12,000. That would be my biggest win to date.

one night i had 2 dollars in my poker account at sportsbetting.com

by the end of the night it was at 200

the next day it got to be 1700

i had an ace high flush and lost to a full house that i didnt see and lost like 600

then i cried and lost the rest.

oh well, it started with 2...i said i was gonna stop at 1000 but then i wanted to get to 3k to buy a new car

once i won a 50 dollar bugsy tourneyment (poker) and got 1200 dollars mailed to me a month later. i bought a massage chair, glad i cashed out and didnt play because thats the trick.

I sat a pouch of about $400.00 which was cash and checks mixed together from my family's car wash on an Advance Auto Parts counter and BLINDLY walked back to grab something else right quick, but came back and the pouch was gone with the cashier telling me that some guy had just walked out of the store who probably had it. I THINK SHE GRABBED IT SINCE NO ONE WAS BEHIND ME DURING THIS SPLIT SECOND TIMING!!! I left there mad as a motherfukkka, and it didn't even dawn on me until later that that white bich had got my money and tried to make like someone else had grabbed it that damn quick! The next time I spotted her she coouldn't even look me in the face since we passed each other on a college sidewalk where we both were attending apparently. I had to go into my savings account and take out the $300.00 I had just deposited a few days earlier in an attempt to start saving. That shittt made me burst into tears in the bank line once it was my turn to tell the cashier what I needed; the cashier kept asking me if she needed to call someone to come get me since she thought I was too emotional to drive.
