I just saw a commercial on TV and it said to go to pch.com to enter the sweepstakes to win $5000 a week for life and then pass it onto whoever you want when you die. It seems pretty legit since it was on TV. But anyone out there know for sure that this is a scam? I entered the contest and it asked my address and everything. Will I get junk mail? If so, how do I remove myself from the mailing list? I already went to customer service and it said I needed to sign in in order to take me off the list. But I didn't sign up for an account with a password. I simply entered the contest. i DONT want junk mail! HELP!

You will be contacted by lots of magazines about subscriptions as that is PCH's business - selling magazines. By signing up you agreed to the terms and conditions which state you will be contacted by their partners and contacted about promotions. This is not a scam - it's how the company makes their money

What has me pissed is how much they talk about "no purchase necessary" yet they bombard your email with literally dozens of offers before they let you submit your entry. It all starts off simple with a few offers then you can submit but once the entry is submitted they make you play these stupid games over and over, I believe in an attempt to wear you down so you'll quit and lose your entry for not placing an order. If you refuse to play they say you are not eligible to enter. The problem is once you believe you're truly entered, you hate to not keep playing the stupid crap because you wont have any chance to win...... I'll never play again once this contest is over. Its sad that they con so many people into buying when that doesn't give them any more chance in hell to win than non buyer's.

You have won 1,0000,000.

Then way in the bottom that s what we will say if you are picked..

Majority of elderly fall prey to this odds are astronomical of ever winning anything. Not a scam but worded and phrases that are designed to entice and make you buy something. Just delete any emails from them.

I've been entering for >3 decades. Do I get discouraged? Not really, it has just become part of my daily internet routine. It takes a minute or two then I'm on to the next task. WTH, with over a million lifetime entries perhaps my odds are getting better. Although with my luck being what it is I'll probably win the big payout the day before my death.

Yes. I showed an interest in a couple of their product and the next thing you know I received them in the mail. I thought wow that's cool since I don't have to buy anything. Now I'm being harassed for payment of the items they sent and with each bill the price goes up!! It is a scam......know anyone who has won?

PCH has been a scam since its inception ,it is only a phishing company. And they sell all the info they get to any one willing to pay .I would suspect they have not given two hundred dollars away since they started .As far as the three stooges they say deliver money they are paid employees of PCH ,and work selling Books,Magazines, and junk. All one has to do is ask around if any one knows of a winner of PCH ,and you will find in a crowd of fifteen hundred not one will say they have met ,heard of ,or seen a winner .It will not happen.

Well!!!!!! If this a scam.... All those people over this big world are playing it, hoping for a miracle, if someone wins, that will be a miracle. We all live on hopes and dreams but what we should live on is "God" promises to us, if we just keep his commandments his promises are greater than any riches on this earth.

OF COURSE you will get junk mail!!! I promise that is the ONLY thing you will ever get from PCH.

Does that mean it's a scam? No. You really DO have a chance to win. The problem is, that chance is even less of a chance than to win the PowerBall!!! It's NEVER, EVER going to happen! To say this is a waste of time is an understatement.

we will see soon. If it is they will face a lawsuit that will cost them thousands, but I am sure they have an attorney on retainer or maybe a dozen. Too bad they could not offer the salary of the shysters as prizes-they might save money.cc

pch sent me a bill for $40 all because i subscribed to one of their sweepstakes. notice all of those ppl on the ads are paid actors and actresses. If PCH had, is, and will often sound too good to be true then they are too good to be true. Think, Win 5,000 for life forever? Are you serious?
