You go to the next highest card, then the next. All things being equal, you split the pot.

Each player plays his 5 best cards out of the possible 7 total. If you both have the same 5 best cards then it's a split pot. Otherwise one or the other will win the entire pot. Many times the 5 cards on the table turns out to be the best, if that's the case everyone left in the hand will get an equal share of the pot. We play it where an odd chip goes to the player who will get the dealer button next, that was still in this hand.

There at the instant are no tie-breakers in Texas carry 'em. Poker is a 5-card hand. the superb 5 card hand wins. If 2 human beings have same 5-card hands, then you relatively chop up the pot, no tie-breakers. on your occasion, one individual had 10-10-Q-J-5 the different individual had 10-10-Q-9-5 the 1st hand is extra valuable. Case closed. Pair of Tens, with a Queen-Jack kicker.

If the first kicker ties, then go to the second. If the second kicker ties, go to the third and if the third kicker ties, it's a split pot. Odd chips go to the person closest to to the dealer.

You go to the second, and third if nessecary, kicker to determine who wins. Only if all the kickers tie do you split the pot.
