This is a SCAM. Check out the below link for confirmation of various scams, including the famous Yahoo/MSN lottery scams and how to report them.
Unscrupulous thieves have sent you this email and they are trying to part you from your hard earned cash. They will often ask you to call a premium rate number and keep you holding on whilst you rack up a huge phone bill. They are then paid a large proportion of this phone bill. They may ask you to divulge personal information about yourself or ask for your bank or credit card details. Do not divulge any such information under any circumstances. It is surprising how many innocent victims have been duped by these types of emails. Just remember the thieves who send them are very clever and extremely convincing. I suggest you delete the email and send it into cyberspace, hopefully along with the thieving scumbags who send them.

The firm that sent you the email has purchased a list of email addresses (perfectly legal) and all they do is sit at a computer, sending blanket emails from their list and sit back and see who is sucker enough to reply.
In effect, they probably only need one person who is naive enough to believe that they have won a lottery prize and WHAM!!! they hit you with a massive bank withdrawal. Leave it and delete it. They will pester you forever if you reply, because they have made a hit and that will more than pay for the list of email addresses.
There are all sorts of scams out there. One of the commonest is the message from someone who says they are the executor of someone's estate (usually the 'alleged' manager or director of some obsure bank in Africa) who says that you can take a share in the person's estate, but the money has to be deposited in your bank account. The scam is, that you give them your bank details and they clear you out, possibly leaving you with a massive overdraft. That's one to look out for.
If you haven't played the lottery, how can you win anything on it?

It's really very simple
you give them your bank details
they take out a huge loan in your name
bank wants YOU to repay it, and you sometimes have to make a token payment to the scammers as well
did you buy a lottery ticket??? do the numbers match the ones on the telly??
It's a scam, put it in your spam folder and forget it

sounds like a scam - did you play the lottery? Usually its you who contacts the lottery people telling them your ticket number and they confirm that you won - not the other way round
